If you have files larger, or have problems with this upload form, you can email me your video file to jay@mtbmovies.com. If you have a lot of footage on tape, you can send a copy directly to me via snail-mail.
Be patient while uploading files!
Larger files will take longer to upload, several minutes or longer depending on your connection. Don't close the window or click the "Upload" button more than once! You will receive a success message when the file is completely uploaded. Just be patient, on a high speed connection you should expect your upload to take at LEAST 1 minute per megabyte of file (25 meg file = 25 minute upload)
When will my video be posted on the site?
We maintain quality control here at mtbmovies. To do that, uploads are not instant like other websites. They are reviewed by a real person. The review process works like this:
Your submission will be reviewed by mtbmovies staff
Your video is added as either a featured public video (our saturday updates) or added to your private account.
An notification email is sent out when your video is reviewed.
The review process usually takes 1 to 2 weeks due to the amount of submissions we receive.
Can do anything to help my video get added?
We always add the best videos, but there are a few extra things you can do to improve your chances of your video being added to our website:
Add the mtbmovies logo to your video, somewhere near the start is best. We give bonus points for this and may also syndicate your video to other websites. You can download the mtbmovies logo right here.
